This delicious iced hot chocolate is a tasty alternative to our hot chocolate. This versatile iced hot chocolate recipe can be made into a mocha with the addition of espresso or an alcoholic beverage by adding your favourite tipple. I have a feeling that this could be your new favourite iced drink.
INGREDIENTS
125ml Milk (your choice what type), plus more to top up your glass after adding the hot chocolate.
4 tablespoons Refuge Drinking Chocolate Blend
Handful of Ice
Glass (I used a pint glass)
Straw
RECIPE
-Heat chocolate in a pan on the hob or in a cup in the microwave until chocolate is melted. 125ml milk of choice (I used coconut milk). 4 tablespoons of Refuge Drinking Chocolate Blend.
-Add a handful of ice to the glass (I used a pint glass).
-Pour the hot chocolate into the glass.
-Top up the glass with your milk of choice (I used coconut milk).
-Stir mixture in the glass to combine.
-Add your straw and sip away!
*To make this recipe into a mocha add a double shot of espresso to the mixture at the end.
*TIPS: make more hot choc than is needed so it can be kept in the fridge to use in this recipe again.
